Net-Zero Pathway

At DPD, we're committed to creating a sustainable future for the logistics industry. As part of Geopost, we're taking bold steps to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.

Our Mission and Vision

As a key player in the freight transport sector, DPD, as part of Geopost, recognises the need to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. From 2024, we are implementing stronger climate protection measures to set a clear path towards a greener future, with the aim of reducing GHG emissions across our entire supply chain to net zero by 2030

We will achieve this in two steps. By 2030, we aim to cut CO2 emissions by 90% compared to 2020 levels. This will involve reducing direct emissions from transport and indirect emissions by increasing our use of renewable energy sources.

How We Plan to Deliver Net Zero

To achieve our net-zero science-based targets by 2030, we will focus on

Electrifying the first and last mile delivery fleet by increasing the share of alternative transport solutions (including electric vans, cargo bikes and delivery on foot) to 50% by 2025 (100% in 2030).
Diversifying the linehaul fleet to include alternative powertrain technologies such as biogas, biofuel, electric and hydrogen-powered trucks. We already have 100% HVO powered linehaul trucks and will continue to stay at the forefront of new technologies.
